Kelly brings more than two decades of experience and leadership within the medical and mental health field. Starting her career at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas as a staff RN, her professional journey evolved at Baylor Regional Medical Center of Grapevine (Supervisor), The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano (Chest Pain Coordinator/EMS Liaison), Family ER + Urgent Care (Facility Administrator), Lumin Health (Regional Clinical Director), CAM Innovative Services (Emergency Services Director), EHC Consulting (Chief Nursing Officer) and most recently Mayhill Hospital (Director of Risk/Quality/Improvement & Compliance Officer). Her proven track record in clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, policy writing and process improvement initiatives makes her a great fit for Santé.
Kelly is no stranger to Denton County as she grew up in the area, even getting her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Texas Women’s University. During her undergraduate program, Kelly worked with Highland Village EMS and Fire Department; she has always been drawn to the work and intensity found in and around emergency medicine. Her Master of Health Administration was later achieved at the University of Phoenix.
Kelly has had professional associations with the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers, the National Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers and most recently the National Leadership Association.
When she’s not on campus at Santé, Kelly is enjoying in the bleachers of a variety of sports with her husband and son. She also enjoys reading and anything outdoors.
