Austin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from the University of North Texas. He began his professional career working in compliance for a private investigation firm. Over time, he realized he wanted a career where he could help others more directly and made the transition into the mental health field.
In early 2026, Austin joined Sante and now serves as the Lead Mental Health Tech on the overnight shift. In this role, he is passionate about ensuring all patients are safe, supported, and comfortable while they are getting the help they deserve. He understands the individualized care that each person may need, and challenges patients to push themselves towards sobriety and wellness.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys traveling and exploring unique foods and cultures. He is actively involved in his church community and embraces a mindset of lifelong learning. He has found a new joy in working in mental healthcare and is considering furthering his education to continue growing in the field.
