Yesenia, a first-generation Mexican American, holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University and is currently on the path to becoming an LPC-Associate. She earned her bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Houston.
Throughout her master’s program, she adeptly handled a varied caseload during her practicum at Journey with Pegasus and continued to focus herself on serving minority communities. Yesenia is deeply committed to assisting and empathizing with individuals on their mental health journeys.
Outside of her professional life, Yesenia takes pleasure in savoring milk teas and lattes, delving into romance literature, catching up on rest, cherishing moments with her family, and indulging in Asian cuisine.
