Santé Center is ready to help you learn how to overcome your opioid addiction and live a much better life. Our philosophy is that not only can you stay sober, but you can love life, too. It’s going to take some work on your end, but seeking addiction treatment programs is the best decision you can make.
Opioid Addiction and Detox
There are so many gifts of sobriety, but the first one you’ll recognize is how nice it is not to wake up sick. Throughout your active opioid addiction, you’ve developed a dependence, and attempting to break that dependence can lead to uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. Through our detox program, we’ll help you get through the following common opioid withdrawal symptoms:
- Aches and pains
- Cold sweats
After undergoing the detox process, you’ll begin to feel much better and see that you never have to go through this experience again. Going through our high-quality process not only helps decrease chances of relapse, but you’ll be safe too. During your detox, we’ll also do an evaluation to see how we can best treat your addiction and mental illness.
Using Dual Diagnosis to Address Opioid Addiction
Long-term opioid abuse can create symptoms of mental illness like anxiety as well as depression. These symptoms may begin to subside after you go through the detox process, but in some cases, they persist. Either way, our addiction treatment program is designed to help uncover any symptoms you’re struggling with and help you overcome them. The key to sobriety is learning how to live a happier life, and that comes with overcoming your mental illness.
Trying to stay sober while your mind races constantly is difficult. Lingering depression can deter you from having feelings of hope. At Santé Center, you’ll learn techniques to lessen your symptoms of mental illness. Once you see that these symptoms are manageable, you’ll know that it’s possible to live an incredible life.
Involving the Family in Opioid Addiction Recovery
Living life to the fullest in recovery involves repairing relationships with your loved ones in different ways. While it’s important that your family learns how to support your recovery, you must do work as well. Santé Center knows that it takes time to change old behaviors in recovery, but you must continue moving forward. No matter what type of situation you have with your family, it can get much better.
While in treatment, you’ll go through different therapies where you begin to see how you have affected your family. This isn’t to have you beat yourself up, but it’s to give you some clarity on what they’ve gone through. In active addiction, the mind says that you’re not hurting anyone but yourself, but this isn’t true. In order to repair relationships with your family, you must begin taking responsibility for your actions.
Our facility also works with family members like spouses, children, parents, friends and more. We want them to understand addiction and how to best support your recovery upon discharge. They too will begin learning how to accept responsibility, and this will help you both grow in your relationship. The family needs to go through a healing process in the same way that you do.
Here at Santé Center, we offer long-term programs to give you the best chances of staying sober. As you transition through our various levels of addiction treatment services, you’ll see how crucial it is to have ongoing support in recovery. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) can last up to 6 months to provide you with additional care in early recovery. We have some clients who also decide to go into a sober living home so they have a safe place to live.
Our facility is compliant with HIPAA, so your confidentiality is safe with us. Give us a call today at 866-238-3154 for more information about our drug rehab facility.
