For those I haven’t met yet,

**I’m SAM SLATON,**

M.ED., LPC, MBA, MHSM – CEO & CO-OWNER,

and I wanted to connect.

A little bit about me: Starting at Santé in 2004, I knew early on my professional vision was to one day lead Santé. It has been a journey from Master’s-level Intern, to Intake & Admissions Counselor, to Director of Intake & Admissions, to Director of Outpatient Services, to COO & now CEO.

Married since 2002, my wife & I have three daughters who have known their entire lives about Santé’s impactful work. It has also been my privilege to serve on the Argyle ISD School Board since 2017, ending this term in 2026 as President. I enjoy random trivia or history, anything Disney & sports.

A little bit about why I’m excited to be at Santé: I know we help others heal. We get to be part of their recovery story. This is a beautiful place, surrounded by compassionate & talented staff, where lives are saved & changed for the better.

Some of the many ways my professional philosophy aligns with Santé:

I want to make sure that we do everything in our power towards helping as many people as possible receive the gift of recovery.
We must constantly focus on how we can improve, remove barriers/silos, think outside the box, have a rule-in mentality, accept feedback, problem solve & work together.
