For those I haven’t met yet,

I’m Meredith Sims,

MS, LPC, NCC – Director of Outpatient Services,

and I wanted to connect.

 

A little bit about me: I feel privileged to engage in work I am truly passionate about, and it is an honor to accompany clients on their recovery journeys. One of the highlights of my role is the opportunity to lead groups – it’s my favorite! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time camping, hiking, swimming, and exploring my creative side.

A little bit about why I’m excited to have been at Santé since 2020: I joined Santé as an intern in residential treatment, and since then, I have progressed through several roles – IOP Case Manager, Assistant Director of Outpatient Services – culminating in my current position as the Director of Outpatient Services. Santé is truly a team-oriented environment, and I love being part of a team which prioritizes collaboration and innovative approaches to mental health and addiction treatment.

A few things to note about my professional philosophy that aligns with Santé:

• I firmly believe addiction often stems from deeper mental health challenges, trauma, and societal issues.
• I advocate for long-term treatment options through multiple levels of care in order for clients to thoroughly adjust to a life in recovery and make lasting changes.
• My approach is consistently creative and individualized – no cookie-cutter solutions here!
