For those I haven’t met yet,

I’m SARAH COSGROVE,

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE,

and I wanted to connect.

    A little bit about me: The addiction field chose me, not the other way around. Since 13 years of age, I’ve loved family members in active addiction who searched for treatment. Three of them found recovery at Santé, and I wouldn’t have sent them anywhere else. This experience definitely shaped me, impacting how I interact with individuals and families throughout Santé’s continuum of care. A little bit about why I’m excited to have been at Santé since 2003: Without a doubt, there is healing each and every day. It’s been a privilege to develop Santé’s financial policies and the diverse ways we reduce financial barriers to treatment. A few things to note about my professional philosophy that aligns with Santé:

• Be the calm in the storm.
• Even with multiple treatment stays, give encouragement as you never know which time your loved one will “get it” and find recovery.
• Integrity-based discharging doesn’t hinge on insurance but on what is clinically appropriate and in the best interest of the client.
