You’ve decided that it’s time to get your life back, and you’re ready to enter treatment for alcohol or substance abuse. Like most people, you probably find yourself wondering, “What is rehab like?” It’s normal to be a little apprehensive when you’re trying something new. Even if you’ve been in drug and alcohol rehab before, coming to a new facility or working with a new counselor can make it hard to open up. At Santé Center For Healing, we’re here to help you through your journey to recovery.
What Is Rehab Like?
At Santé Center For Healing, we need to provide you with a unique experience that helps you achieve recovery. We recognize that no two clients are alike. We pride ourselves on providing personalized rehabilitative care to every person who trusts us to aid them on their path to recovery. Our substance abuse treatment programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each client. Individuals can either work through our programs progressively or enter into the specific program that will best help them meet their goals in recovery.
We offer many different programs, including:
- Addiction Detox Services
- Addiction Treatment Services
- Professionals Program
- Men’s Drug Rehab
- Women’s Drug Rehab
We understand addiction, and we’re here to help you get the tools you need to stay sober even when the stresses of everyday life get in the way. When you start treatment at Santé Center For Healing, your counselor will work with you to learn more about your unique situation. From there, we’ll decide which of our programs make the most sense for your healing. There is no one path to recovery at the Santé Center For Healing. No matter where you’re starting, we’ll help you get to your end goal: a healthy, happy life. If you’re wondering, “What is rehab like?” feel free to give us a call so we can answer your questions.
A Day In Rehab
A typical day in rehab will look different from client to client and depend heavily on your treatment plan. You may need to go through detox when you arrive at our facility. We use a medically managed detox system to help make your detox experience as comfortable as possible. We understand that detox can be tough, and we’re here with you every step of the way. You don’t have to go through detox in an unsafe or scary way.
Most clients spend time in therapy each day, either group, individual, or both. Many of our clients also participate in family therapy. At Santé Center For Healing, we understand that addiction is often a family problem, and getting others in your life involved in your healing can be helpful for everyone. Depending on your situation, you may also go through trauma or PTSD therapy to help you process issues that may have led to your addiction. Because each individual will travel down a unique path in recovery, it’s necessary to offer as many therapeutic options as possible. Here at Santé Center for Healing, we offer a wide range of addiction therapy services, such as:
- Art therapy
- EMDR therapy
- Fitness therapy
- Nutrition therapy
- Meditation therapy
- Neurofeedback therapy
- Recreational therapy
- Trauma therapy
- Yoga therapy
Of course, you won’t spend the entire day in therapy talking about yourself. You’ll also spend time working through activities that will help to build your self-esteem. You’ll eat healthy, balanced meals, get exercise and fresh air, and take time to get away from it all. While rehab is hard work, we also believe in the value of giving our clients plenty of time to relax and reflect. The answer to the question of, “What is rehab like?” depends greatly on the individual.
