For 2018, let’s embrace the movement retiring the idea of multiple, formalized resolutions and selecting “my one word”,
picking just one word to inspire you all year.
What would your “one word” be? Collaboration? Professionalism? Expertise?
Choose a word that represents you and your dedication to the amazing work you do.
As an organization, we’ve decided to simplify and adapt the one-word campaign rather than implement a myriad of resolutions. Mike Ashcraft explains this concept here (Insert video/ video link)[ If we could insert only the video I think that’d be cool; if we can do that without linking the whole webpage then maybe scrap the whole sentence about Mike Ashcraft]. My One word for the upcoming year is “Adventure”. Taking over as the Alumni Coordinator just before 2017 has certainly been an Adventure thus far. The position was completely new to me and we’ve been able to introduce a few new things this past year that have not been done before in our Alumni Program. It has been an enjoyable ride, to say the least but as I look towards 2018 I seek to journey even farther. For example, last year’s OKC Road Trip was a first for Sante’s Alumni Program. In 2018 we will be returning to OKC, as well as planning a trip to Houston and another location to be determined. I also hope to organize Sante’s first ever Alumni Camping Trip; date to be announced. I hope y’all are as excited about 2018 as I am and I hope y’all are looking forward to continuing your adventure. We’re here to assist you in these pursuits in whatever way possible. I thank you for your support, interaction and participation in 2017 and I encourage all to join in on the adventure in 2018, and beyond.
