ABOUT ME

Neele Henderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Neele joined NPCS in 2007 and with nearly fifteen years of experience, she has been providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families.

In addition to her work in the above areas, she has also worked closely with individuals who have experienced brain injury and their loved ones. While providing a safe, caring, and warm environment she utilizes her knowledge of different techniques to adapt and work with each individual’s differences while mostly using a cognitive-behavioral approach. While challenging assumptions, beliefs, and thoughts that may be unrealistic or unhelpful she presents different perspectives, behaviors, and skills to use to improve a wide variety of challenges presented. Her approach is to work in a collaborative relationship with respect, trust, and time sensitive problem solving methods. She believes clients possess the internal ability to improve their overall functioning in an empathetic and encouraging environment and feels honored to be a part of the process.
