Mylene Eduvala, LCSW

Mylene Eduvala is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Positive Change Counseling Center who offers teletherapy throughout CA. Mylene specializes in treating individuals with depression and anxiety disorders, life stressors, and trauma. She takes a strengths-based approach in her work with individuals, couples, and families. She has a passion for working with military service members and their families in developing skills to target stressors unique to that community.

Mylene has experience in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient (PHP/IOP) programs, and non-profit organizations.  She is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for treating OCD and Anxiety Disorders, as well as Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing therapy(CPT) for trauma. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy.

Mylene received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and her Master of Social Work degree (with an emphasis on Military Social Work) from the University of Southern California.  With her knowledge and experience, she works collaboratively with her clients to provide a safe, supportive environment to promote self-efficacy and resilience.
