LaDonna R. McBride Ph.D, LMFT, LCSW
Dr. LaDonna McBride is a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and a LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist). She holds a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Women’s University. Dr McBride has been certified in trauma treatment since 2010. She specializes in the following: Anxiety, OCD, and addictions, as well as, adult survivors of childhood abuse, survivors of domestic abuse, and military events. She has worked extensively with complex traumas and with First Responders (Police, Firemen, EMT, 911 operators, etc.) and military veterans.
Dr. McBride clinical experiences includes individuals (teens 16 and older), couples, and families. She uses an integrated approach to therapy, using several therapeutic strategies in her personalized approach to counseling. Dr McBride focuses improving relationships with self and others and believes this is vital to healthy living. Dr McBride uses EMDR Therapy as a way to address traumatic experiences, phobias, obsessions, compulsions, depression, and more.
