Kristen Cairns, LPC
Hi! As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I consider it a privilege to work alongside people in rediscovering their values and what they want their life to be about. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Baylor University, and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of North Texas. My areas of focus are eating disorders, addiction, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem/self-worth, and self-harm. Prior to transitioning to outpatient, I spent several years working in the treatment center setting with patients at higher levels of care, so I am comfortable managing that process if needed. I have collaborative, working relationships with psychiatrists and dieticians, and value a team-based approach. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults!
When I’m not counseling, I love spending time outside, going on adventures with my husband and 2 boys, trying new restaurants, and planning our next trip! Please contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you!!
