Kindell Bruington, LPC
Kindell Bruington joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in August 2018. She received her Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2012. Kindell completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Texas State University in 2006. She received her License as a Professional Counselor in 2015. Kindell has worked in many different clinical environments with diverse populations. She has facilitated groups and provided individual therapy to children, adolescents, families, and adults both in outpatient as well as inpatient settings. Kindell also helped facilitate diagnostic assessments of individuals and families across the nation and provided clinical services to adolescents deemed “at risk” in various counties in Texas.
Kindell believes that the relationship between a client and counselor is powerful and important. She encourages clients in their courage to come to counseling and take steps forward. Kindell strives to create a safe, open space, where clients feel comfortable working on their goals. She uses a variety of resources to meet the unique needs of each clients during their journey in therapy.
