Hi! My name is Katie Barrantes, and I am a licensed associate counselor in AR.
Do you ever find yourself getting stuck in your thoughts or feelings and then acting in ways that aren’t in line with what you value and how you want to be/exist in the world? If you are human, I would dare to say so. I think we can all relate. I sure can! In my work with clients, I seek to educate them on the concepts of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and allow them to experience these concepts through metaphors, experience, and homework. My goal in working with clients is to help them develop a new relationship with their inner experiences so that they can move forward in life toward what they value.
