Jim Farley, MA, LPC Therapist
Jim went to school at Mid-America Christian University, where he received his BS in Behavioral Sciences and Ethics and MA in Counseling. During the Practicum for his master’s program, he worked primarily with active duty military personal and veterans dealing with PTSD, TBI, trauma, addictions, abuse, depression and marriage and family therapy.
While interning, he gained a lot of experience with Narcissistic Personality Disorder and how to treat it. He has also become familiar with Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome and Parental Alienation. The Narcissist resembles the Borderline, the Histrionic and the Sociopath Personality Disorders. The abuses suffered by friends and family of any one of these personality disorders is very real.
Jim was trained by the Center for Deployment Psychology in Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma and TBI. While working on his master’s degree he trained in the Emotional Freedom Technique, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Ericksonian Hypnosis.
