I grew up in a ministry family as a pastor’s kid and previously served as a law enforcement officer and in the military. While serving as a patrol deputy I experienced life and death situations—seeing both the best and worst of the human condition. As I progressed in my career, I noticed that most of the situations I responded to could have been prevented through alternative means such as therapy. This included both the problems within the different homes and the aftereffects of experiencing traumatic events. I felt called by God to specifically work with individuals and families that have experienced traumatic life events and ongoing relational issues. My experience as a former law enforcement officer and in the army gives me a unique advantage of being able to help first responders, military personnel, and their families during difficult times from a place of understanding. My upbringing as a pastor’s kid and background in ministry also give me a unique perspective to assist ministry families. I am married with two young children and we are members of a local church. I look forward to working and walking alongside you during this process and assisting you in achieving your goals.
