Jaime Colatriano M.S., LPC-S, RPT-S
Jaime Colatriano joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2014. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Counseling in 2004. Jaime also completed her Master’s degree in Counseling at the University of North Texas in 2010. She received her License as a Professional Counselor in 2012 and became a Registered Play Therapist in 2013. Jaime is EMDR Trained and is a Certified Prepare Enrich Facilitator to give couple’s assessments. Prior to becoming a counselor, she worked for an Early Childhood Intervention Program, for 5 years, where she utilized knowledge about typical child development and gained experience in collaborating with school districts to help children and their families obtain appropriate services.
Jaime believes that the healing process begins by building a trusting relationship between counselor and client where the client can feel free to communicate their emotions and experiences. Through this relationship the client and counselor can work together to find solutions to the problems the client is facing.
