Elizabeth Ledford, MS, LPC-Intern
Elizabeth Ledford is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern in the state of Texas and is under the supervision of Megan Krizan, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT at Nova Cesta Counseling.
Elizabeth graduated with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. She specializes in adolescent counseling and has enjoyed working with many students as a counseling intern at Communities in Schools of North Texas for a year and as a Director of Christian Education at Messiah Lutheran Church for over eight years. Elizabeth is also trained to work with adult clients. Her experience has prepared her to work specifically with crisis situations, depression, anxiety, interpersonal struggles, self-esteem issues, grief, and coping skills.
Elizabeth believes that you, the client, have everything you need to be the best version of yourself. In other words, the only expert on you is you! She hopes to serve as an unbiased sounding board that is focused on helping you see and be comfortable with your true self. Feeling truly understood can help us see past the issues we face and realize our true potential.
