Detailed Information

Chris McMullen, LPC, CSAT

Chris’ path into the counseling profession began with the desire to observe and a
curiosity to simply understand. While in in high school, Chris became increasingly interested
in what pushes people to act in certain ways. He found himself filled with questions regarding
the hurts, scars, and behaviors of those around him. You may have heard the familiar
saying, “Hurting people hurt people.” Chris knows this to be true, and it is part of his story. He
know what it feels like to be addicted. With every broken promise to himself and
others, cycles of shame and hopelessness seemed to take residence in his life. He knows what it
means to work through addiction, and his passion is to help others who are facing similar
struggles.
Chris has been practicing in DFW since 2011. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to his wife, Morgan, and enjoys spending time with her, their daughter Mila, and their rescue dog, Poppy.
