Are you or a loved one finding it more difficult to engage and feel “present” in your life? Are you feeling burdened or weighed down with anxiety or depression? You are not alone. My calling is helping teens, adults, and families develop new ways of managing day to day life and mental health concerns, as well as improving communication. I am passionate about working with adults and teens struggling with everything from, depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, suicidal ideation, and grief, to everyday life stressors and transitions. I am relationship focused with my clients. I believe that our rapport is one of the most important aspects of therapy. I have a relaxed, non-judgmental style and work collaboratively with my clients. My goal is to help you gain new ways of coping and thinking to bring about positive change in your life and relationships. I incorporate many evidence based treatments in my therapy approach such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, Sandtray Therapy, and Mindfulness, in addition to David Kessler’s model for grief work.
My favorite quote by Dr. Wayne Dyer is, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” I would be honored to work with you to help you find new ways to look at your struggles and gain the skills necessary to make changes to become a happier, healthier you! Give me a call and let’s see how we can work together !
