Detailed Information

Carly Moss, LPC

When beginning therapy, creating a space of safety is the primary focus. With emotional, relational and physical safety, you can begin to shift from surviving each day to thriving. We will work in collaboration to identify roadblocks that are preventing you from moving towards your values and goals. I am currently seeing clients through video chat and telephone. Also, I am in the process of being in network with a few insurance providers.
I am a licensed professional counselor with focused training in trauma recovery. My background is in a variety of different therapeutic settings treating unresolved trauma, mood disorders and substance abuse. The modalities I frequently use are emotion focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and concepts from the Daring Way, by Brene Brown.
Whether this is your first or fifth time seeking a therapist, it can be a scary process. As we get to know each other, my hope is that I can earn your trust and confidence. I believe it is an honor and a privilege to be invited into your story. My hope is to be a nonjudgmental presence of empathy and compassion as you move forward in your journey.
