Ardis is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University with specialty training in Play Therapy, Activity Therapy, Child Parent Relationship Training, Group Therapy, and Geriatrics. Ardis has companioned people seeking counseling for various life and mental health challenges from the ages of three to ninety three. Ardis has worked with the  adolescent populations in Frisco and Prosper ISD, grieving children and families with Journey of Hope, Camp Sol, and Camp Erin as well as end of life support with Hospice. Prior to counseling, Ardis dedicated eight years to Court Appointed Special Advocates of Collin County while staying home with her young children.

Ardis believes counseling is a component of overall healthcare. She believes that each person has his/her own unique story and resiliency. Through the challenges of life people need an accepting place to share their story and their perspective in order to gain insight into their strengths and find balance. Ardis will provide a warm, empathetic presence to people from birth to geriatrics.

Ardis earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas with a focus on child development in 2002. Ardis has been peacefully married for seventeen years and together they have two compassionate and adventurous teenagers, as well as two rescued dogs.
