Ann Heinrich, LMFT
Over my career in counseling I have worked with a wide variety of clients with varying needs. Most recently I had a private practice in Dallas before joining Merc Ships for 2 years in Africa as the on-ship counselor for the crew. My private practice experience has focused on individuals, children and couples. An area of expertise I use is EMDR or Brainspotting (BSP) to help individuals who have experienced trauma or are stuck with reoccurring issues they cannot seem
to shake.
My experience includes working with teens, play and sand-tray therapy for children, grief counseling, couples counseling, and general counseling for life issues. Previously I had counseling experience working in organizations providing hospice care, in-patient treatment, a grief center, school programs, and adoptive services.
I hold a Master of Arts in counseling from National
University, San Diego, California. My Bachelors is in Behavioral Sciences and I am also a California credentialed K-12 teacher. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Texas and California.
