Tami Thompson

Tami Thompson studied marketing at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Upon graduation she began her career in business development at a behavioral health hospital for children in Tulsa. She excelled at building and nurturing partnerships with community mental health professionals and received tremendous satisfaction in her role providing treatment providers with a top notch resource for their client’s inpatient and group home needs.

Opportunity knocked and Tami was offered a marketing position at a financial institution the highlight of which was leading a rebranding effort and helping to create a consistent look and feel throughout several branch locations. After several years working in this industry, life took an unexpected turn and Tami found herself working for a plastic surgeon and wearing many hats from marketing and sales to client financing and office management. She spent 8 years in this position and was then recruited by a doctor to open a medical spa. This tremendous opportunity was too great to pass up so she spent the next 2 years getting the spa opened and running smoothly. Once that goal was accomplished, Tami started looking around for a new challenge which led her to Sante Center for Healing. She feels her career has come full circle and is excited to return to what she loved doing so long ago at the children’s hospital, building relationships and doing her part to help connect individuals and their families to the resources they need for long-term recovery.
