CE Presentation Objectives:
- Enhance Understanding of Personality Disorders: The seminar aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of personality disorders, including an exploration of all three clusters, dispelling incorrect stereotypes, & fostering a deeper appreciation of the challenges faced by individuals with these disorders.
- Develop Empathetic Treatment Approaches: Through the lens of empathy, participants will learn practical strategies & techniques for effectively treating clients with personality disorders. The seminar will focus on cultivating empathy as a foundational element in therapeutic interventions to promote better treatment outcomes & foster a supportive therapeutic alliance.
- Combat Stigma & Promote Confidence: By addressing the stigma surrounding personality disorders within the mental health field, the seminar seeks to empower attendees to approach their work with confidence & compassion. Participants will gain the knowledge & skills needed to navigate challenges commonly associated with treating personality disorders, fostering a more empathetic & inclusive approach to client care.

Saturday: Alumni Programs (adults only)
Every year, Santé hosts the Annual Alumni Recovery Retreat by kicking-off the celebration on Friday evening with an off-campus, Alumni Dinner. Then, on Saturday, the event continues on-campus. This retreat offers alumni from all over the country the chance to reconvene on campus for renewal, chip recognitions, reconnection, & recommitment to their recovery. Santé Alumni, staff members & local therapists offer several experiential therapies, lectures & discussions. It is always a fun time & there are opportunities for alumni to connect with current clients during 12-step meetings & meals. Many alumni have made the retreat a part of their commitment to recovery & service work.
